Tranquille place to relax - Rating 5/5

We spent 5 days here. Superb cottage, semi-detached, with its own enclosed garden. It's close to the village with all the facilities you need. Cottage is neat and spacious with comfortable beds.Only the kitchen could use an extra cleaning. Sheila and John are lovely hostel.

Christmas Break- Rating 5/5

Stayed for three nights in between Christmas and New Year with our toddler and 2x dogs.Really nice cottage in a picturesque location. All necessary facilities available.Clean and spacious.Really hospitable host. Not a criticism, just an advisory- charges for pets could be clearer in the advertisement for the cottage.Would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit Scotland.

Traditional farm cottage - Rating 5/5

Our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 under 3 years old) visited for 3 nights at Willowherb Cottage. We found the property to be very nice. A traditional farm cottage in a very quiet location at a fair price. We opted for a cottage rather than paying the same price for 2 hotel rooms as it was more practical with the 2 children. We met the owners and they were very approachable and friendly. The facilities in the cottage were adequate (fridge, freezer, microwave, TV, oven....).If we stayed longer, I would love to have wandered around as the area had a lovely mix of wildlife (birds of prey, pheasants, farm animals....) and scenery.Would recommend. Thanks.

Hi Derek,Thank you for your kind review, which is much appreciated. You should have been here this week to see aMummy dear with twins in front of the cottage. So glad you all enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again. Kind regards Sheila

Highly recommend! - Rating 5/5

Our family stayed across the two cottages and we all had a great stay. All our questions beforehand were answered quickly by Sheila. The cottages were clean, comfortable and we enjoyed using the log burner in the evenings. It was so quiet and peaceful and we loved seeing pheasants, deer, sheep and Highland coos on our walks. Would love to stay again!

The peace and tranquility of the location of Foxglove Cottage was just what we were looking for during our stay and Sheila made us feel very welcome. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the local walks along the quiet lanes and through Wilton Lodge Park into Hawick.
